ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION AND INTERNET/TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Recognizing the emergence of electronic distribution and Internet/telecommunications in education, TURNKEY created Education TURNKEY Electronic Distribution, Inc. in 1986 and initially worked with several entities, including the Maryland Education Technology Network, to negotiate publisher licenses for electronic distribution. TURNKEY monitors Federal agency websites to identify opportunities and implications for clients. With the creation of E-Rate discounts, TURNKEY continually monitors state and school use of E-rate refunds used for software and related purchases. TURNKEY services include:

• identify niche markets with greatest potential for Internet use,
• identifying key states and sales approaches to take advantage of E-Rate discounts and refunds,
• providing orientation/training for firms with products in high demand due to E-Rates, and
• identifying "value-added" opportunities for selling bundled public domain content via the Internet.
